What is The Downtown Club?

The Downtown Club is a youth-focused program offering year-round activities including summer camps, after-school care, transportation, and enrichment programs in a safe and supportive environment.

Can non-members attend summer camp?

Yes! Non-members can register for summer camps for a flat fee. Payment plans are available for families needing financial assistance. Please contact us to learn more.

Is transportation available?

Yes. We offer transportation from select SB Unified schools during the school year and to/from summer camps. The transportation fee is $20 a month ($5 a week.)

What ages or grades do you accept?

Our programs are designed for youth entering third grade and up. This includes after-school activities, summer camps, and transportation services. If you have questions about eligibility or exceptions, please feel free to reach out!

What are the summer camp options?

We offer a 7-week summer camp with a variety of engaging camps, including art, music, sports, and STEM. Specialty camps like the SB Museum of Art may have an additional fee.

How do I apply for financial assistance?

We offer scholarships to ensure every child has access to our programs. Please email us or visit the front desk for a physical application or more information.

Is there a fee for late pickups?

Yes. A $10 late pickup fee will be charged if a child is not picked up within 10 minutes of the program’s end time. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and timely environment for all participants.

Where is The Downtown Club located?

The Downtown Club is located at 632 East Canon Perdido Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93103, just a few blocks from Alameda Park. We’re proud to serve families throughout the Santa Barbara community in a safe, central location.
